E-COMMERCE · DIRECT TO CONSUMERS

Custom B2C online stores built around how people buy.

We build online stores that make it easy to find a product, choose the right option and complete a purchase. Your rules for bundles, promotions, payments and delivery work together, from the catalog to a confirmed order.

For brands and retailers that need buying journeys of their own.

When an online store needs custom logic

We start with the moments that make the next step difficult for customers or sales rules difficult for your team to maintain.

  • Products come with many choices

Size, color, configuration or compatibility affects the purchase. Customers need to see valid combinations, the right price and stock for the exact variant.

  • Bundles and offers outgrow the template

Sets, gifts and discounts have their own conditions. The offer needs to work consistently on the product page, in the cart and at payment.

  • Checkout needs too much clarification

Delivery costs, availability or required details become clear too late. Customers should understand the terms before they confirm an order.

THE BUYING JOURNEY

Complex rules. A clear path to purchase.

We connect discovery, product choice and checkout into one coherent journey. The scope follows your assortment and the priorities of the first release.

  1. 01Find

Help customers find the right product among hundreds of options

Catalog structure starts with how people choose your products. We design categories, search, filters and curated selections. Customers can understand the differences and return to their results without setting every filter again.

    • Search and filters

Useful attributes, clear results and a helpful path when a search returns nothing.

    • Comparison and recommendations

Product differences, compatible accessories and recommendations based on understandable rules.

  2. 02Choose

Make it clear what the purchase includes

Color, size and configuration can change the price, stock and available accessories. We connect each selection to the correct product variant. Bundles show their contents and discount conditions; unavailable combinations have a clear explanation.

    • Variants and compatibility

Relevant attributes, images and stock for the selected product option.

    • Bundles and promotions

Offer compatibility, gifts and cart recalculation when its contents change.

Headphone product options and a compatible bundle with a carrying case and cable.
  3. 03Buy

Let people complete the purchase comfortably on a phone

We design the cart, payment and delivery around a small screen. The total is explained, entered details survive errors and payment status stays clear. After purchase, customers receive confirmation and a straightforward way to check their order.

    • Straightforward checkout

Necessary fields, relevant payment methods and guest checkout where the sales model allows it.

    • Terms before confirmation

Shipping costs and options, address or product restrictions, and status after payment.

BEHIND THE PURCHASE

Plan for the moments when something changes

The store needs to handle changing stock, edited carts and delayed external services correctly. We agree these rules with the team that will process the orders.

SituationWhat the customer seesWhat the system checks
  • A variant sells out

An explanation of what is unavailable and a way to change the selection.

Current availability before confirmation and the agreed stock reservation rule.

  • Cart contents change

An updated total and an explanation of why an offer starts or stops applying.

Discount conditions, offer compatibility and the free-delivery threshold.

  • Payment is still pending

The payment status and a next step without a false success message.

Confirmation from the payment provider and protection against duplicate order creation.

  • The back-office sync is delayed

An accurate order status while the team checks processing.

Safe retries, team notifications and duplicate prevention.

We define the source of product, price, stock and status data separately. Connections to PIM, ERP, warehouse, payment and delivery systems depend on available APIs and your operating rules.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Questions about custom B2C store development

Assortment, checkout, integrations and the first release.

Questions and answers

The difference is in the rules around selection and checkout. You may need dependent product options, a configurator, bundles, overlapping offers, subscriptions or specific delivery conditions. A ready-made platform is often enough for a straightforward catalog. We add custom logic where customers and your team actually need it.

No. We first review the current platform, data quality and integrations. Improving the storefront or one part of the buying journey may be enough. We propose a separate system or a new architecture when the requirements cannot be delivered reliably within the existing setup.

Yes. We agree valid product combinations, bundle contents, discount priorities and the behavior when a cart changes. Prices and conditions are checked during checkout. This helps keep the offer consistent between the product page and the amount presented before payment.

These flows can be included in the scope. We define what customers can change, how pausing and cancellation work, which messages are sent and what happens after a failed payment. Recurring payments depend on the capabilities of the chosen payment provider.

After reviewing the available APIs, we define the exchange method, authoritative data sources and update frequency. Reservation, order transfer and safe retries are agreed separately. Having an integration does not automatically mean every piece of data updates instantly.

Before migration, we map existing URLs and important pages. We plan the new catalog structure, corresponding redirects, content transfer and indexing checks. Product variants and filters need separate decisions. Stable rankings without any fluctuation cannot be guaranteed.

We test the main journeys on mobile and larger screens, including errors, unavailable items and payment retries. Where agreed, we set up events for search, product selection, the cart and checkout. Post-launch data helps prioritize improvements; we do not promise a specific sales uplift in advance.

Catalog structure, pricing and promotion rules, integrations, data quality and migration scope all affect the estimate. We estimate an agreed first release with explicit assumptions. Later features can be delivered in stages while preserving a complete journey from product selection to an order.
